OK we are done with the first CFL Pool of 2024! We had 28 entries, so we have 4 top prizes! And our winner is Marc, as The Selkirk Milkman! He takes the first prize of $67.50! Or 50% of the top prize pool! Pretty decent! Our second place finisher was Brad (Supper's Ready)! His prize is $33.75, or 25% of the top prize pool! Pete finished in 3rd, so he takes $20.25, or 15%; and our last minute 4th place finisher is Mark! And he grabs $13.50, 10% of the top prize pool. So that accounts for the $135.00 top prize pool! But there's more! Last but not(?) least… The last place prize! For the poor unglückliche who finishes dead last! And that was… Wayne! Hopefully that will ease his pain! So that accounts for the entire prize pool of $140.00! 28 entries times $5.00 each. Note, for display purposes, the standings are sorted by total points, then games correct, then by name; but it is total points only that are used to determine or break ties. OK then, thanks for playing, everybody! Hope you had fun! And just a reminder, CFL Pool 2 starts Thursday! July 25! Hope to see you then!
