Hi all! Here we are with a 2021 Women's Curling Championship Pool! So far, some cracks, but the Calgary Curling Bubble is holding! So click the links below to see how this last Curling pool of 2021 is doing!

TOURNAMENT CANCELLATION RULE: OK just so we all know. In the event that stupid Covid cancels the event… full refunds for all! Only fair thing to do. But if it’s delayed or postponed… we hang in until it’s done or it’s canceled!
TEAM DROPOUT POLICY: For any team that drops out, for all their unplayed round robin games, you get 1/2 points, no matter if you picked them to win or lose that game. To be fair, I think that's best. No time to remove the games from the pool. This does not apply to the playoffs though! If you picked them in the playoffs and they dropped out, you lose those points. So after all the mystery, uncertainty, and fuss... Germany is going ahead with its remaining 3 healthy players! And has actually won a game! So... perhaps no dropping out after all. Oh well! All I can say is... STUPID COVID.
GAMES CANCELLED RULE: Here's a NEW COVID RULE for the pool. If any round robin games on the pool are cancelled, the same 1/2 points above rule applies. Sunday Morning's draw including the Czech Republic vs Denmark, is postponed, to be decided some time during the week! So if they cancel it, what else can we do. If it gets to be too many games cancelled (5? 10?) perhaps we start thinking about cancelling the pool. We'll see how that goes! Staying hopeful the games at least can go on, even if we can't watch them. And looks like they all got played after all! Nice.

Instructions for using the Excel Pool Entry Form
To fill out the interactive pool entry form and send it to me, you MUST save your picks on your computer. Then email the file you saved to me as an attachment. That's the only way I will get your picks! That's because the form is not a true online form. But it's still very easy to use. Credit for the original entry form goes to a guy from MTS who did weekend hockey pools back in the 1990's!
