The wait is over! It's a World Cup year again. And we haven't had a pool since... 2014!! Wow! Missed the two in between for some reason. But finally, at last... we have a pool!
Yes, This year's World Cup is being hosted by the three Amigos of North America! Mexico, USA, and CA-NA-DAH!! It runs from THURSDAY, JUNE 11 to SUNDAY, JULY 19. That's 39 days of heart-stopping madness! And if you have a few thousand dollars, you could even go to a game!! Awesome. Anyway, below you'll find all the documents you need to get in on the action of The 2026 World Cup Soccer Pool! It's a BIG one, you pick 40 games altogether! 24 selected Group Stage (round robin) games, and 16 playoff games starting with the Round of 16, all the way to the Bronze and Gold final matches! So... let's get at those documents! ... But first:

That's the first match on our pool. It's the usual Entry Form with drop-down everything! Full of instructions galore!! Download the form, make your picks, then save to your computer and email to me. Or print it off, and hand it in to me, or send a pic of it in email or text! Whatever works!

ROUND OF 32: NOT ON THE POOL!
The very first Round of 32 in World Cup competition! Well I looked at the structure… it's pretty much incomprehensible!
There's NO WAY I'm going to spreadsheet it… let alone try to explain it to everyone. We don't need the stress, thanks!
But who makes the Round of 32? Yes we need to know this! Dig:
THE TOP TWO COUNTRIES FROM EACH OF THE 12 GROUPS, PLUS THE TOP 8 THIRD PLACE COUNTRIES.
So all these 32 teams go into the extremely complicated Round of 32 bracket. Then 16 teams will emerge as victorious, the rest will go home.
Keep that in mind as you fill out the Round of 16 section of the pool!
Since we're skipping the impossibly complicated Round of 32, who does play who in the Round of 16. Well it's anybody's guess. Pretty much anybody could play anybody else. You just pick 16 matchups, and 8 winners.
But, don't worry! Your Round of 16 picks are interchangeable! You get full points for picking winners, regardless of what Round of 16 match they played in. Pick a winner, get your points!
What about the losers? You get half your points just for correctly putting a team in the Round of 16! Win or lose! These are the Playoff Bonus Points that are part of virtually all Glen Pools!
Same applies to the Quarter and Semi Finals! Pick a winner, get full points! Pick a loser, get half points! No matter what exact match they played in!
Ahhh, yes... The Bronze and Gold matches. These are different! You must put a team in the EXACT medal match to get full or half points! Pick a winner? Get full points. Pick a loser, get half points.
BUT, if you put a country in the Bronze match, and they play in the Gold match, you still get 1/4 of your points for that! And vice versa. So all is not lost!!
